Modern Machine and Tool was founded August 1, 1998 with the unique objective of producing a broad range of parts for a wide range of industries. Les Korporal started the company in a 30' X 50' garage, which was quickly outgrown. In 1999 the company purchased its first CNC machine and moved into a larger building in Van Buren, IN. A year later an adjacent building was purchased for the purpose of fabrication work. Modern Machine steadily grew and in 2005 moved to the current location on the south side of Van Buren, IN. Here a new shop and offices were built and in 2012 another building was built to house a larger supply of material along with an improved fabrication shop. We have become a family business that operates on two shifts and employs 30+ skilled workers. We continue to adapt to the ever-changing industry.
